Brief
Needlecraft Tattoo was founded by Sharon, a former college friend and fellow fine art graduate who took the leap into the world of tattooing. With a background in fine art, her tattoo style blends painterly techniques with intricate fine-line mandala designs. The project began with creating a hand-drawn logo featuring a rose and tattoo gun, reflecting her early artistic influences. The design was meticulously illustrated, then scanned and vectorised in Illustrator for a polished, versatile finish.
Solution
As Sharon’s style evolved towards fine-line mandalas, the branding was updated with a second logo and a full shop revamp. This included custom artwork for the storefront and large window decals to enhance the studio’s visual identity. Unable to part with the original design, both logos now proudly adorn the shop—adding even more character to her creative space.
Outcome
The result is a distinctive logo for Needlecraft Tattoo that feels more recognisable, more aligned and better suited to long-term brand use.
